potato-carrot cakes
3 small carrots
2 small potatoes
1/2 onion
1 egg
seasoned bread-crumbs
shred the vegetables and mix with a beaten egg. add breadcrumbs to thicken the mixture. shape into patties and fry in a mixture of olive oil and butter. season.
